Starting Monday, December 6th we will be posting tips and ticks for 12 days. Enjoy! Day 1: Create Your Content CalendarMarketing friends, if you don't have a content calendar then you need to create one today! If you're wondering where to even start, then start here: patreon.com/thatdigitalrush. The January 2022 calendar is already out. Sign up today so you can catch up on December and start planning for January! Day 2: Research Hashtags1. Visit best-hashtags.com to find potential #hashtags. You're looking for keywords to help your posts get more eyeballs on them, but also looking for keywords that will help you find more conversation to join. 2. Take your list and then move on over to each social platform to refine it. Search each of your hashtags to see what kind of conversations are happening and decide if you want to be a part of them. Keep adjusting the hashtag until you find the right collection for your business! 3. Keep your list of hashtags ready so you can include them in your social posts. 4. Make this an ongoing process so you don't miss new hashtags that pop-up. Day 3: Find Groups to JoinWhen working in the world of digital marketing, you're going to come across weird stuff every single day. You're going to have questions about algorithm changes, why videos aren't uploading the way they used to, why certain functions are missing on social platforms. Search for groups to join so you can collaborate with others just like you! Day 4: Make a List of Calls-to-ActionIf you're advertising to humans then you MUST tell us what to do or we're most likely not going to do it. One of the best ways to boost sales is to include wording as simple as "buy it today". Learn more. If you're not advertising to humans, I'd love to learn more about how you've expanded your marketing to interdimensional beings. Day 5: Create a VideoI know, I know ... you have SO MANY completely legitimate reasons as to why you should NOT create a video today (I get it, I have the same excuses). But you still need to do it. Use these tips to get started and check out the video creation lessons I learned the hard way, so you don't have to. Day 6: Re-Use Evergreen Content "Evergreen" content is any content you've created that you can keep using over and over again. And you should! Work smarter, not harder, am I right?? Here's how. Day 7: Edit Your Social BiosWhat do your social bios say about you? Are they hurting or helping sales? Use this makeover checklist. Day 8: Edit the "About Me" Page on Your Website Many people are surprised to know that one of the first pages their audience looks at is the "About" page. Go to yours real quick and look at it from an outsiders point of view. Is it hurting or helping? Use these tips to make updates. Day 9: Create a Digital FreebieEveryone loves free stuff. Even if you sell a tangible product, you can create a digital freebie to go with it. Sell running shoes? Create a PDF full of the best stretches for runners. Here are a few of our freebies:
Day 10: Say it with EmojisEveryone is talking about "story telling" right now and how it's one of the most effective marketing strategies. It is. You don't always have to have a huge blog post or video campaign to get your story across, though ... sometimes a few well-placed emojis in a social post or email newsletter can quickly tell your story. Try them. Day 11: Define Your Social "Voice" Yes, you should be authentic and be yourself, but sometimes it pays to think twice before being fully 100% yourself. Find out when/where/why. Day 12: Get Monthly Coaching Hi, it's me, doing a shameless self promotion. Coaching comes automatically when you're one of my clients. However I know many entrepreneurs and small business owners who can't budget my regular services in quite yet. I started out like that, too! That's why I created a Patreon subscription service to help you out. I have different tiers based on what you need. Check it out!
